Iconic, futuristic, reliable, accurate; all in a compact package. Bonus points for the ability to take cheap and plentiful STANAG magazines versus 40 dollar proprietary magazines. Austrian innovation that inspired some makers and has left other makers envious, for almost 50 years. The Steyr Aug. From various militaries and featured in several iconic films, bullpups never looked, or worked, so well.
I ordered this recently from gunprime, I am very pleased with my order. Took a bit longer to get here than I like, but thats more on the shipper than gunprime. Trigger leaves a bit to be desired but that can be remedied with a new set of arid springs. Only thing that was a let down about it was the lack of any iron sights or optic, but again, this is not a issues with gunprime, rather it is with the manufacturer. If you're looking for an iconic rifle look no further, scratch that itch. Its worth it.
All went very smooth with the purchase, and could not beat the price. Came across a used Steyr AUG A3 M1 at my local gun store and it cost more than what I paid for this one new. I’ve already put an ACOG on it and have my ideal platform.
