Description
This Colt Python is a classic 6-inch .357 Magnum revolver wearing Colt’s iconic high-polish blued finish, often referred to as Royal Blue. The ventilated rib, full underlug barrel, and finely tuned Colt action make the Python one of the most desirable double-action revolvers ever produced. Known for exceptional accuracy and smoothness, the 6" configuration remains a favorite among collectors and target shooters alike.
This example, serial 34192E, shows attractive blueing with typical handling marks from use. The original Colt wood stocks are intact and well-fitted, displaying the gold Colt medallions. The revolver’s finish presents well from all angles, and the mechanical components (ejector rod, cylinder, sights, and frame) appear complete and original.
Colt Pythons continue to be a top-tier collectible, with early E-serial models becoming increasingly scarce. This one offers an excellent balance of collectibility, condition, and price.
